What VenturePoint stores
We store account information, university affiliation, profile details, venture information, applications, invitations, messages, tasks, goals, contributions, notifications and product-usage events needed to operate the network.
Public information
Approved venture profiles and Student Builder portfolios are only public where the product marks them public. Student portfolio sharing is opt-in. Account privacy settings control whether eligible profiles appear in VenturePoint search.
University access
Licensed university administrators may see ecosystem information and outcome reporting for their campus according to their VenturePoint license and access permissions.
Security
VenturePoint uses authenticated access, database row-level security and role-based permissions. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so users should avoid placing passwords, highly sensitive personal information or confidential secrets in free-text fields.

You can manage email preferences, profile discoverability and request account deletion from Account Settings.
